Honda ADV 150, ADV 160 and Click 160 scooters are offered for weekly or monthly hire. You can request photos of the actual bike before committing.

The Honda Click 160 is offered in the ABS version.

The listed options include a 2025 Honda Click 160 and a cheaper older Honda ADV 150. Scooters are checked and serviced before every rental.

The ADV 160 is offered for rides to Doi Suthep, Mae Rim and Samoeng, and for the Mae Hong Son loop.

A copy of your ID document or passport is taken as part of the rental paperwork; the originals are returned immediately.

Bring your licence and an ID document. RideMate requires a Thai motorcycle licence or an international permit accepted in Thailand for motorcycles; a car-only licence is not accepted. Its requirements for foreign credentials are: Russian and Ukrainian licences need category A, not B or A1; Russian M is also insufficient. Japanese and Korean international permits need the motorcycle A stamp; for Korean credentials this is tied to a 2종 소형 licence, not ordinary class 1 or 2 car licences. German, Austrian and Swiss holders need full class A plus a 1968 Vienna international permit and must bring both; B, B196 and A1 are not accepted. French B, including the seven-hour 125 cc training, and A1 are insufficient. Spanish holders need class A plus a DGT-issued international permit; B, even after three years, and A1 are insufficient. Italian and Polish international permits need category A; B and A1 are insufficient, including Poland’s domestic three-year B entitlement. Dutch holders must bring both their motorcycle licence and international permit. Malaysian holders need a motorcycle class, with B2 accepted, not D alone; the general Thai-licence or motorcycle-IDP requirement still applies. Indonesian motorcycle IDPs must be based on SIM C, not SIM A. A mainland-Chinese licence alone, translated or notarised, is insufficient.

A written rental contract must be signed. Basic insurance is included; fuel and chargeable damage remain the renter’s responsibility.

Send your dates and preferred bike to request availability, the deposit amount and a delivery time. The initial enquiry needs no payment or commitment; nothing is booked until confirmed with you. Form enquiries usually receive a same-day reply, with WhatsApp usually faster.

Booking replies and confirmation can be handled through WhatsApp or email.

No cleaning fee is added at return. A small booking fee may apply when a short rental is reserved a long way ahead.

Weekly and monthly starting prices are published for all three models. Rentals shorter than a week are not offered.

Every rental requires a deposit. The amount is confirmed before you commit or book.

You keep your original passport and licence throughout the hire; they are handed back immediately after the document check and ID copy.

The deposit is returned at the end of the rental, after any chargeable damage repairs are deducted at actual cost. If repairs exceed the deposit, you pay the difference.

A monthly rental costs less than four separate weekly rentals. Longer stays can be discussed directly.

Every scooter is cleaned, checked and serviced before each rental.

Scooters are serviced on schedule.

Servicing during the hire, including oil and tyres, is included. Small marks from normal riding are not charged; renter-caused damage is charged separately.

Basic insurance is included in the rental price.

Two helmets are included, for the rider and passenger.

A navigation phone holder is fitted to every rental bike and included in the price.

Rear boxes are fitted to some bikes. Request one when booking.

Message the team if the bike breaks down. They arrange help, with a replacement brought to you if it cannot be fixed on the spot.

A backup bike is included if a mechanical problem cannot be fixed on the spot.

Damage repairs are charged at actual cost, with no markup or penalty fee. Repairs are deducted from the deposit; you pay any excess. Small marks from everyday riding cost nothing.

Message before the rental expires to extend it without returning the bike and starting again.

A passenger helmet is included alongside the rider’s helmet.

You can extend the hire by message before it expires, without returning to the office.

Bike-selection and rental-preparation guidance is available before booking.

Free delivery and collection serve Chiang Mai, including Nimman, the Old City, Santitham and Hang Dong. Arrange the location and time with the team.

Fuel is paid by the renter and is not included in the rental price.
