A staff-assessed test ride takes place at handover. If staff judge the rider unable to operate safely, the booking is cancelled with a USD 5 delivery fee.

The fleet is advertised as no more than three years old. Chiang Mai lists a 2026-model option, subject to availability.

Phuket rentals must stay on Phuket. Chiang Mai rentals are offered for local mountain routes and the road to Pai; assistance and insurance are limited to the service area attached to the booking. Rentals have no mileage limit or curfew.

Road use only: off-road and beach riding are prohibited, including with the CRF.

Personal data is retained while needed for the service or legal/business purposes, then deleted or de-identified. Data requests can be sent to [email protected].

Drivers must be 18–71 and have riding experience. Bring your passport, the payment card and required riding documents. Phuket requires a motorcycle-endorsed IDP with your home licence, or a valid Thai licence. In Chiang Mai, the accepted licence for small scooters is unclear; a minimum age of 24 applies to larger categories, with an unclear boundary at exactly 160cc. Confirm your model’s requirements before booking. Missing required licence documents causes cancellation, the first day’s charge and a USD 5 delivery fee.

Rental terms are available before booking. Drivers and passengers must wear helmets; bikes and helmets must be locked when unused. The renter pays traffic fines and must use designated or authorized parking.

With Cancellation Insurance, cancellation before or during hire refunds unused rental days less the insurance cost and refund-administration fee. Without it, rental charges are non-refundable; an alternative date or transfer to another person requires availability and at least 24 hours’ notice. Date changes of the same duration carry no change fee, subject to availability.

If the reserved bike becomes unavailable, a similar or upgraded bike is supplied at no extra rental cost. Colour preferences can be requested but are not guaranteed.

Full payment is required before pickup and confirms the reservation; online confirmation is immediate. Delivery and collection slots are indicative. If a slot cannot be met, Bikago contacts you to arrange the earliest available alternative. Book Phuket rentals ahead during peak season.

An automatic email receipt is sent for each transaction; the booking-confirmation email provides a Change Booking option.

Phuket delivery and collection are free for rentals of at least three days; shorter bookings carry a fee. In Chiang Mai, the free-delivery threshold differs between two and three days, so confirm it for your booking. Cross-service-area delivery or collection in South Thailand can carry a recovery fee.

Public daily, weekly and monthly quotes are available for both Chiang Mai and Phuket shop rentals. Prices depend on dates, model and duration; payment fixes the booking price.

Confirm your deposit before paying: zero-deposit rentals are advertised, but uninsured hires may require credit-card security of USD 750 for standard bikes or USD 1,250 for bikes of at least 250cc. Selecting Motorbike Insurance removes the stated deposit.

Your original passport stays with you. It is shown for verification at handover, not held as security; incomplete verification postpones handover.

Deposit refunds are targeted for processing within 24 hours on business days after a good-condition return, with email confirmation. Bank posting typically takes 5–10 business days; PayPal refunds are described as instant. Damage or missing-item issues are notified by email.

Any required deposit is authorized or charged to a credit card. Cash deposits are not accepted.

Pay online using MasterCard, Visa, American Express or PayPal; cash is not accepted. Quotes default to USD, with THB and other supported currencies converted daily from USD. Signing the rental agreement authorizes final charges to the payment account.

Chiang Mai quotes show weekly and monthly savings for selected models and dates. Phuket advertises lower daily-equivalent rates for longer bookings. Returning customers can request a 10% next-rental voucher through WhatsApp; confirm its applicability to your Thailand booking.

Bikes receive a full service between rentals. In Chiang Mai, mountain-use rentals receive brake-pad and fluid-level checks after each hire, with components replaced before significant wear.

For collection from your accommodation without you present, photograph all four sides, the odometer and fuel gauge, plus stored helmets and accessories where applicable. Leave the keys with reception or the duty manager and tell Bikago who accepted them; do not leave the bike unattended in an unsupervised area.

Phuket motorcycles and scooters are maintained to factory standards.

Registration and tax-paper copies accompany the bike and must be carried while riding; report their loss immediately. Motorbike Insurance covers rental-bike damage and theft, subject to exclusions. The stated excess is USD 95 for standard bikes and USD 249 for bikes of at least 250cc, but USD 95 is also advertised without that exception. Confirm the excess for a larger bike. In Chiang Mai, confirm whether this cover is included or a paid add-on. Alcohol-impaired, underage and unlicensed riding are excluded.

Helmets are included. Phuket rentals provide two sanitized, fitting helmets; the Chiang Mai Giorno package also lists two sanitized helmets. Contact Customer Care for a replacement if a helmet is lost or broken; the accessory-loss charge applies. Riding without a helmet is prohibited.

A first-aid kit is supplied with Phuket rentals and is listed as included in the Chiang Mai Giorno package.

A charging phone holder is included. Fasten it securely; use is at your own risk and phone damage is not covered by Bikago.

Luggage storage is not available at any Bikago location.

Motorbike Insurance does not cover medical expenses or third-party liability; it protects the rented motorcycle only.

English-speaking roadside assistance is available 24/7 within the booked service area, including throughout Phuket. Motorcycle recovery can be arranged, with insurance and service-area conditions applying. Chiang Mai response estimates range from 30–45 minutes in the city to 3–4 hours in remote locations. If you have consumed alcohol, Customer Care can help return the bike to your location.

If the bike develops a fault, Bikago arranges a replacement. Chiang Mai mountain-route replacements depend on need and availability.

Report faults or an unroadworthy bike to Customer Care immediately; the team schedules repair or replacement.

Tyre damage is chargeable. Lost, stolen or damaged accessories are charged at retail value: helmet USD 25, medical kit USD 14.95 and phone holder USD 10. Repair charges are notified by email or WhatsApp. A renter-caused accident that makes the bike unroadworthy ends the hire without refund unless Motorbike Insurance was selected, subject to its exclusions.

A lost key costs USD 45 to replace the lock set. Keep the supplied registration and tax-paper copies with the bike while riding and report lost documents immediately.

Report an accident to Customer Care immediately, not the following day. Bikago helps arrange a replacement and may assist with a police report.

Raise complaints before departure; complaints raised after departure are not considered.

Unused rental days can be refunded when Cancellation Insurance was purchased, less its cost and the refund-administration fee.

Request an extension by WhatsApp or email; extra time depends on availability.

One bike switch is allowed within three hours of receipt, subject to availability. Upgrades cost extra and downgrades are refunded. Switching to or from a bike of 250cc or more also changes the insurance price, excess and deposit.

Hire is counted in 24-hour units; returning late adds rental charges.

Phuket roadside assistance covers the island. For longer Chiang Mai routes, confirm the booked service-area boundary: free assistance and Motorbike Insurance do not automatically extend to every recommended mountain route.

Fuel is full-to-full. A shortfall costs USD 5 handling plus refill cost at the prevailing PTT Gasohol 95 Phuket/Thalang rate.
